For students who are ready to start the application process, we begin by helping them reflect on their academic strengths, extracurricular involvement, and personal interests to build a well-balanced college list of safety, target, and reach schools. From there, our team works closely with each student to brainstorm and develop compelling application materials, including personal statements, supplemental essays, and activity descriptions. These written materials are opportunities for students to tell their stories, showcase their writing skills, and stand apart from other applicants with similar academic credentials. We provide detailed, iterative coaching to help students find their authentic voice and allow their personality and unique perspectives to shine through.

Some colleges may also require an interview as part of the admissions process - these interviews are further opportunities for students to share the people, places, and experiences that make up who they are. Our team of ivy league alumni assist with mock interviews and provide detailed feedback to help students leave a strong impression with interviewers.

Beyond core application components, we also help with scholarship applications, ensuring students maximize opportunities for financial aid and merit-based awards.

We think there is value in starting this journey early - for our younger students, we help with laying the groundwork for long-term success in the college admissions process. At this stage, thoughtful planning can make a significant difference in shaping a student’s academic trajectory and personal growth. We work with students to explore their academic interests, discover meaningful extracurricular activities, and begin cultivating a well-rounded profile. This includes helping with summer program applications, writing contest submissions, and early leadership opportunities.

Depending on where you are in the process, you may require varying degrees of guidance - for more comprehensive counseling to help craft your applications from start to finish, we recommend 15-20+ sessions.
